Highlights are the stories an account chose to keep. They're the only part of someone's story history that stays public indefinitely — and the app still gives you no way to save one.

Pick a highlight and every story inside it opens full size, each with its own download button.

How to use it

  1. STEP 01

    Enter a handle

Type the public Instagram username whose highlights you want to open.

  2. STEP 02

    Pick a highlight

Every highlight on the profile appears with its cover and how many stories it holds.

  3. STEP 03

    Open and download

Selecting a highlight loads the stories inside it, each downloadable at full size.

Common questions

What's the difference between a story and a highlight?

A story disappears after 24 hours. A highlight is a story the account owner chose to pin to their profile, where it stays until they remove it. That makes highlights the only part of an account's story history that remains publicly visible.

Can the account owner tell I opened their highlight?

Highlights loaded through this tool are read from public data rather than played through an account, so they don't register in the owner's viewer list.

Why does a highlight show no stories?

Highlights can contain stories that have been deleted from the original archive, or that Instagram restricts in your region. When that happens the highlight cover still exists but there is nothing public inside it to load.
