Instagram video and photo downloader
Paste any post or reel link and save what's inside it.
When you already have the link, this is the fastest route: paste it and get the file. Works for reels, video posts, single photos and carousels. A carousel gives you every slide separately.
Files come through exactly as Instagram serves them, with nothing re-encoded and no watermark added.
How to use it
- STEP 01
Copy the link
In Instagram, open the post or reel, tap the three dots and choose Copy link. A browser address bar link works just as well.
- STEP 02
Paste it here
Drop the link into the box above. Reels, video posts, photos and carousels are all handled.
- STEP 03
Download
Every item in the post appears with its own download button, at the original quality.
Common questions
What links does this accept?
Any public instagram.com link to a post, reel or IGTV video: the /p/, /reel/ and /tv/ forms. Profile links won't work here; use the story or highlights viewers for those.
Can I download every photo in a carousel?
Yes. A carousel post is expanded into its individual slides, each with its own download button, so you can take one or all of them.
Why does my link fail?
The most common reason is that the post belongs to a private account, in which case there is nothing public to read. Deleted posts and links copied from a story rather than a post will also fail.
Is downloading someone else's post allowed?
Saving something for your own offline use is generally fine. Reposting it as your own is copyright infringement no matter how you got the file. Credit the creator and ask first.
Not the tool you needed?
Everything here starts from a link you already have. Depending on what you are after, a sibling tool may fit better:
- It's a reel and you want to watch it before saving — the reels downloader plays it on the page.
- What you want is a story, which has no shareable post link — the story viewer reads them from the profile.
- It sits inside a highlight on someone's profile — the highlights viewer opens the stories inside.
