Common questions
Can I view Instagram stories anonymously?
Stories loaded through this tool are fetched from Instagram's public data rather than played through your account, so they don't appear in the story's viewer list. This only works for public accounts — a private account shows nothing publicly for any tool to read.
Do I need an Instagram account to use this?
No. There is no login step at all. You enter a handle and the tool reads what that public profile is already broadcasting.
Can I view stories from a private account?
No. A private account publishes nothing publicly, so there is nothing for this or any other tool to read. Anything claiming otherwise is either guessing or asking you to hand over your password.
How long are stories available?
Instagram removes stories 24 hours after posting. Once a story expires it is gone from the public data and this tool can no longer show it.
Does downloading a story notify the poster?
No. Downloading through this tool doesn't touch the poster's account and generates no notification of any kind.
